The virus that leads to COVID-19 infects people of all ages. However, there are people who are at a higher risk of getting severe COVID-19 disease:

• Older people (over 70 years of age)
• People with serious chronic health problems (cancer, hypertension, respiratory disease, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, liver disease)
