Regular physical activity does not only improve overall fitness but it can also lower the chance of dying quickly from a heart attack, a new study published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology suggests.
Knee osteoarthritis (OA) is classified as either primary or secondary.
Primary knee OA is an idiopathic phenomenon, occurring in previously intact joints, with no apparent initiating factor. Nevertheless, it is related to the aging process and typically occurs in older individuals. In addition to this, knee OA occasionally can be found in multiple members of the same family, implying a hereditary (genetic) basis. Rarely, some of these hereditary cases of knee OA are caused by defects in collagen, which is an important component of cartilage protecting the ends of the bones at the joint.
However, causes of Secondary knee OA include:

Cancer is a large group of diseases that can start in almost any organ or tissue of the body when abnormal cells grow uncontrollably, go beyond their usual boundaries to invade adjoining parts of the body and/or spread to other organs. The latter process is called metastasizing and is a major cause of death from cancer. Other common names for cancer are neoplasm or malignant tumour.
The second leading cause of death globally is cancer, accounting for an estimated 9.6 million deaths, or one in six deaths, in 2018. Lung, prostate, colorectal, stomach and liver cancer are the most common types of cancer in men, while breast, colorectal, lung, cervical and thyroid cancer are the most common among women.
The cancer burden continues to grow globally, exerting tremendous physical, emotional and financial strain on individuals, families, communities and health systems. Many health systems in low- and middle-income countries are least prepared to manage this burden, and large numbers of cancer patients globally do not have access to timely quality diagnosis and treatment. In countries where health systems are strong, survival rates of many types of cancers are improving, thanks to accessible early detection, quality treatment and survivorship care.

The human brain is the central nervous system organ, consisting of several billions of nerves. It is one of the human body’s largest and most complex organs. The brain controls all functions of the human body.
Exercising the brain is part of innovative pain therapy for stroke, Phantom pain, and Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome. Brain-stimulating activities increase one’s attention on the activities being carried out and direct one’s thoughts away from the pain being felt.
How can one achieve this?

The knee is one of the largest and the most complex joints in the human body. It is a weight-bearing and a hinge type synovial joint, which mainly allows for movements such as flexion and extension (and a small degree of medial and lateral rotation). It is formed by articulations between the femur, tibia and patella (knee cap).
The knee joint has been reported to be the most commonly degenerative joint especially among Africans. In other words, slow progressive destruction of the articular cartilages occurs more in the knee joint among Africans. Osteoarthritis of the knee tends to cause the greatest burden to the adult population as pain and stiffness in this joint often leads to significant disability requiring surgical intervention. As a result, OA of the knee is the most common reason for Total knee Replacement (TKR).
